To ensure an intimate group and that each participant receives individual attention to their writing and creative journey, places are limited.

10% DISCOUNT FOR SIGN UPS BY APRIL 1st. A deposit of €500 is required to secure your place.  The balance is due by 1 July 2024. If you choose the Festival-Only Ticket, we recommend you please book your accommodations early as places will fill up by mid-summer.

Booking Information

  • Email us your details at info@kalymnoswritersfestival.com and in a brief paragraph, tell us what appeals to you about joining us for the Kalymnos Writers` Festival and where you are in your writing journey.

    If your application is accepted, we will send you the bank details for your €500 deposit:

    Once your deposit is paid, we will send you an email to confirm your booking and an Information Pack containing all the details you will need to get the most out of Kalymnos and the Festival.

  • Included: accommodation, all Festival workshops and events, breakfast each day, four communal dinners, guided walks and use of stand-up-paddle boards. 

    Festival Only Ticket includes everything except accommodations. Includes Festival workshops and events, four communal dinners and daily breakfasts.

    Partner/friend ticket includes everything but access to the Festival workshops and events. Includes accommodation, breakfast, and four communal dinners.

    Not included in any of the packages: transport to and from and within Kalymnos, insurance, the costs of meals/snacks/drinks not scheduled in the Festival, and the cost of any extra-curricular activities.

  • We would only cancel at the behest of the gods, and then only in the direst of straits – war, civil strife, governmentally imposed travel restrictions, and other like catastrophes.  In the unlikely event that we need to call “Brace! Brace!” you will receive a full refund of the Festival ticket and accommodation.    

    If you need to cancel your attendance for any reason, the following cancellation policy applies:

    Before 1 July 2024: Your deposit will be refunded.

    1 July to July 31 2024: 25% of Festival ticket and accommodation refunded.

    After 31 July 2024: 0% of Festival ticket and accommodation refunded.

  • Our lawyer made us do it. We don`t anticipate the Kalymnos Writers` Festival will bring anyone any harm. On the contrary, we are doing our best to contribute to the wild multiplication of love and light in the world. Still, we can`t guarantee that you won`t be attacked and mauled by a rabid unicorn. You are big boys and girls, and by applying to attend the Kalymnos Writers` Festival, you agree that the organizers accept no liability for any loss or damage you may suffer in travelling to or from, or attending or participating in, the Festival.

Supporting the Education of Children in Tanzania

The Festival donates 5% of all profits to The School of St Jude in Tanzania, so by joining us you are also helping to bring the written and spoken word to children in Africa who might not otherwise have the chance at an education.
